Terms and Conditions of Service

You can register for Powerful Intentions as a "free" or an "Abundant" (paid) member. Regardless of which membership you choose we do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below.

When you check the box that you agree to the Terms and Conditions, you're stating that you agree to the following Terms and conditions and Rules of Conduct.

1. ) You are over the age of 18.
2. ) Although the administrators and moderators of Powerful Intentions.com, Inc. will attempt to keep objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and the owners of Powerful Intentions will not be held responsible for the content of any message, post or communication that takes place at Powerful Intentions.
3. ) You warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violate any laws of this land or the universe.
4. ) Powerful Intentions.com, Inc. reserves the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic, thread, post, article or any other content placed in Powerful Intentions for any reason.
5. ) You agree not to utilize SPAM in promoting Powerful Intentions or any pages within Powerful Intentions. You agree not to Spam (by "Spam" we mean: to initiate unsolicited offers to buy, sell or join anything) to other members via private messaging or any other method. This action will result in the immediate suspension or termination of the offending Powerful Intentions account.
6. ) Powerful Intentions.com, Inc. is not responsible for technical problems, acts by third parties, or other events outside our reasonable control which may temporarily disrupt or diminish service.
7. ) To protect Powerful Intentions.com, Inc.'s customer privacy, if deemed necessary, Powerful Intentions.com, Inc. reserves the right to withhold identifying customer contact information from Member.
8. ) Powerful Intentions.com, Inc. reserves all rights in or to its trademarks and service marks, but these may be used by Powerful Intention Members in accordance with this agreement. Member may in no way display a Powerful Intentions.com logo, image, or trademark which may be distasteful, defame, or be misrepresentative.
9. ) Powerful Intentions.com, Inc. and the Member reserve the right to terminate this agreement at any time for any reason or no reason at all. All monthly, semi-annual and annual membership payments to Powerful Intentions are non refundable, yet may be downgraded or cancelled at any time.

DISCLAIMER: PowerfulIntentions.com, Inc. hereby disclaims all express and implied warranties for all products, goods or services, including the implied warranties of MERCHANTABILITY and FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. All products, goods or services are provided AS IS with respect to Powerful Intentions.com. Any warranty or other remedy offered by the original manufacturer or party offering any services, if any, is offered only by such entity and not by Powerful Intentions.com, Inc.

Powerful Intentions.com, Inc. obligations and your remedies hereunder are solely and exclusively as described and limited herein. Powerful Intentions.com, Inc.'s liability, whether based on contract, tort, warranty, strict liability, or other theory, shall not exceed the price of the individual unit of goods, products or services whose alleged defect or damage is the basis of the claim.

In no event shall Powerful Intentions.com, Inc. be liable for any loss of profits, loss of use, or other indirect, incidental, or consequential damage. Powerful Intentions.com, Inc.'s display of any products, goods or services offered by or originating from a party other than Powerful Intentions.com are not intended nor offered as information or data comprising any claim or representation as to such products, goods or services by Powerful Intentions.com, Inc..

Any ultimate purchase of any product, goods or services from Powerful Intentions.com, Inc. is made subject to the law of the State of Delaware, which substantive law shall control the relationship of the parties.

Note: Unless you are posting on a private forum, all post and webpages you create at powerful intentions.com, Inc. are available for public viewing and can and do show up in Google and other search engines. This can be a huge benefit to members who desire to be easily found on the internet and many people upgrade to abundant memnbership specifically for this reason. For others, it may come as an unwanted surprise.

While you may change your profile page by yourself at any time, we do not remove posts made by members on forums unless we deem them objectionable, so please keep this in mind when you post. We at Powerful Intentions.com, Inc. intend for all posts, information, and content created by ourselves and our members to be of uplifting value to ourselves and others.

Rules of Conduct

Powerful Intentions is a community for people who, through the Law of Attraction, collectively co-create the most abundant and brilliant ideas, actions, and manifestations that have EVER been experienced on this planet! Our Values are FUN!...Freedom!...and above all...a spirit of respect and tolerance for each and every member of the Powerful Intentions Community.

We will take action against any behavior that disrupts conversations and community on the site. Powerful Intentions has the right, but not the obligation, to remove or move any member-generated content for any reason, without notice. These Rules of Conduct reflect the standards of behavior our members find acceptable.

By registering as a member of Powerful Intentions, you agree to the following:

Rules of Conduct

1. Courtesy and Respect: You agree that you will be courteous to every Powerful Intentions member, even those whose beliefs you think are false or objectionable. You agree not to make negative personal remarks about other Powerful Intentions members, including negative remarks about their age, disability, gender, ethnicity, race, nationality, religion, sexual orientation, intelligence, character, appearance, health, mental health, education or any other personal characteristic. You agree not to create posts and discussions intended to criticize or ridicule other members personally. You agree not to engage in derogatory name-calling or inflammatory comparisons of any kind.
2. Hate Speech: You agree not to engage in hate speech in the Powerful Intentions community. You agree not to allege that groups or individuals deserve violence, or attempt to dehumanize or degrade them on the basis of age, disability, gender, ethnicity, race, nationality, religion, or sexual orientation.
3. Violence: You agree not to advocate illegal violence against or harassment of groups or individuals.
4. Proselytizing: You agree not to make aggressive, repeated, or unwanted attempts to convert another member's religious or other beliefs. Please respect the rights of others to follow their own beliefs, even if you think those beliefs are false.
5. Disruptive behavior: You agree not to disrupt or interfere with discussions, forums, or other community functions. Disruptive behavior may include creating a disproportionate number of posts or discussions to disrupt conversation; creating off-topic posts; making statements that are deliberately inflammatory; manipulating topic lists to disrupt conversation; posting in a language other than English without providing an accurate English translation; expanding a disagreement from one discussion to another; or any behavior that interferes with conversations or inhibits the ability of others to use and enjoy this website for its intended purposes.
6. Local guidelines: You agree to observe the rules and guidelines posted by the Founder/Co-Founder for specific discussion Forums. These guidelines often appear near the top of first page of that forum.
7. Solicitation: You agree not to use community forums to advertise or solicit on behalf of commercial, religious, charitable or other organizations, causes, products or services or even free offers. You MAY use a small signature file with a link at the end of your post
8. Repeating Posts: You agree not to repeat substantially the same text in more than one location in the Powerful Intentions community.
9. URLS: You may share the URL of a web resource other members may find useful, but you agree not to post URLs repeatedly or for the purpose of promoting a website or service (see "Solicitation" above). You agree not to post a a URL of a site that violates these Rules of Conduct. You will not reproduce chain letters, pyramid schemes, mail fraud schemes, or any other unauthorized advertising.
10. Copying posts: You agree not to post or forward transcripts of e-mail or other personal communication without the author's express permission. You agree not to reproduce material from Powerful Intentions (including member posts) without express written permission from Powerful Intentions. You agree not to copy or link to Powerful Intentions member posts with less than friendly intent. You agree not to expand disagreements from one forum to another.
11. Privacy: You will not collect or use information about users of the site without express permission from both Powerful Intentions and the users. (see also: Surveys) You agree not to reveal personal information about someone else. Powerful Intentions will remove any post containing a personal telephone number, real name, address, or any information that might reveal someone's geographical location without their permission. You will not send e-mail to Powerful Intentions members that would violate these Rules of Conduct. Cautionary Note: Because Powerful Intentions message forums are public, and may be indexed by Google and other search engines, we advise members to make a choice about posting personal information about themselves. If you choose to display your personal information to other members, please be aware that Powerful Intentions has no control over who uses your personal information or for what purpose. If you believe you are the target of a cyber-stalker, please refer to http://www.wiredpatrol.org/stalking for more information.
12. Vulgarity: You agree not to display words, information, or images that are vulgar, obscene, graphically violent, graphically sexual, harm minors in any way, exploit images of children, or are otherwise objectionable. You agree not to post URLs of sites where such words, images or information is displayed. Permission for exceptions to this rule must be obtained from Powerful Intentions.
13. Images, Text and HTML: You agree to refrain from using visually disruptive or excessively large font sizes and/or images. We suggest that images be no larger than 300 pixels in width or height, and that you not use font sizes larger than 18 points (size 5). You agree to use HTML and styles only for text effects (such as bold and italics), to post images, or to create normal hyperlinks. You agree not to upload to Powerful Intentions or link to any other code, tags, scripts, audio, animations, file or program. You will not upload, post, link to, e-mail or otherwise transmit any harmful component to Powerful Intentions, or deface any portion of the site.
14. Minors: You agree that you are 18 years of age.
15. Surveys: Researchers, journalists and writers who wish to post a survey or ask for information from Powerful Intentions members must obtain the permission of Powerful Intentions before doing so. All message board posts are the property of Powerful Intentions and under copyright protection. (see also: Privacy) To obtain permission, send a description of your project, along with full name and contact information for your school and supervising professor, or contact details for your organization,to support @ powerfulintentions.com. If we agree to allow you to post your survey or conduct your project, you will be asked to credit Powerful Intentions as the source of your information when you publish. Please note that we are unlikely to approve any survey which asks Powerful Intentions members to reveal personally identifying information to you, including their e-mail address, so please consider a web survey system instead of e-mail for collecting data.
16. Copying Content: Powerful Intentions discussions are intended for interactive conversation; members are encouraged to express their own ideas in their own words, not to parrot the words of others. You agree not to create posts that consist substantially of material copied from another source. You agree to respect intellectual property rights when posting on Powerful Intentions. You agree not to post copyrighted or trademarked images , or to engage in "bandwidth theft." You agree not to post articles or other text from another publication (copyright or not) except as follows: you may quote a small sample, credit the source, post a hyperlink to the author's original, and include your own comments in your own words. You may quote texts in the context of discussing them, but you must include your own comments in your own words. Permission for exceptions to this rule must be obtained from Powerful Intentions. You agree that you will not modify, sublicense, translate, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, frame, mirror or disassemble any portion of this Site, or offer to do so.
17. Illegal activities: You will not solicit or promote the use of an illegal substance, promote illegal activity, or discuss illegal activities with the intent to commit them.
18. Impersonation: You agree not to impersonate or spoof Powerful Intentions members, employees, hosts or volunteers. As a free member, you agree to create and use no more than one Powerful Intentions username, without explicit approval from Powerful Intentions. You agree not to use the name of a revered religious figure or well-known public figure as your Powerful Intentions username. You agree not to express or imply that any content or materials you make, submit or post are endorsed by Powerful Intentions or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
19. Your Contact information: You agree to provide a valid e-mail address in your Powerful Intentions registration. You may choose to conceal your e-mail address from other members, and you may manage your mail preferences. However Powerful Intentions staff must be able to contact you by e-mail if necessary to discuss your account. If the e-mail address in your profile is not valid, your posting privileges may be suspended; should this happen to you, please e-mail us for assistance. Community staff members will keep your e-mail address confidential. Please refer to the Powerful Intentions privacy policy for more information.
20. Complaints: If there are problems on Powerful Intentions, we want to know about them so that we can attempt to fix them. You agree to report community-related complaints and problems appropriately: to report a violation of these Rules of Conduct, or to complain about another member or the action of a Forum Founder or Co-Founder, please contact the forum founder or co-founders directly first; and then, if necessary, e-mail your complaint to support @ powerfulintentions.com, who will review your complaint and take appropriate action. You agree not to post problem reports and complaints publicly on the site, or to comment publicly on host or staff actions. You agree you will not harass Forum Founders, Co-Founders, and Powerful Intentions staff. You will not engage in behavior that requires Powerful Intentions staff and/or Forum Founders and Co-Founders to expend excessive time and/or resources.

In addition:

• These Rules of Conduct apply to anything you upload to or create in the Powerful Intentions community, including posts, screen names, member profiles, discussion titles, or any other text or images.
• We have the right to suspend or terminate your membership for violation of the above rules.
• We have the right to reprint from Powerful Intentions discussions any post or portion of a post (along with the username of the Powerful Intentions member who posted it) somewhere else on the site or in any other medium.
• We neither endorse nor are responsible for any opinion, advice, information or statement made or displayed in these forums by third parties, nor are we responsible for any errors or omissions in such postings, or for hyperlinks embedded in messages. Under no circumstances will we be liable for any loss or damage caused by your reliance on information obtained in these forums. The opinions expressed in these forums are solely the opinions of the participants, and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of Powerful Intentions.
